The Foundation takes pride of the strength of its partnership with Eastside Pathways. Again, our awareness of children presenting at our schools with barriers to their learning that our own organization’s mission does not stretch to address, such as homelessness, severe dental or health issues, poverty, etc., prompted our willingness to support the community’s effort to bring the collective impact model to Bellevue. The Bellevue Schools Foundation served as Eastside Pathways’ fiscal agent until its nonprofit status had been secured and the Executive Director served on Eastside Pathways’ Board. The Foundation is now one of more than 60 community partners working together to effect positive change for children, from cradle to career.
